Went for a particular event so didn't see all the site. Will return for a full look round. Cafe and well stocked shop on site. Machine to pay for car park takes cash and card. Narrow road in but good amount of car park space. Lovely site, a real hidden gem

I've passed this on the train for years without knowing it was accessible to the public. Lovely place to visit and stop for a coffee or meal when you want to warm up. If there had been a sign visible from passing trains I'd have probably visited years ago.

What a wonderful place to blow away the cobwebs. Lots of space to enjoy a walk in the fresh January air. Loads of wildlife, too. We found a path where many small birds were freely feeding. Lots if Robins, blue tit's, etc. We even encountered a friendly signet while walking along the path. He was very friendly. Followed up by coffee and cake in the great cafe. This is such a great, unspoiled space to enjoy. I highly recommend it year round.

Amazing nature reserve with a range of short, medium and long circular walks around the lakes and riverside. Fantastic nature centre with a great cafe. Free parking for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust members. Only the red trail is currently open.

I had a brilliant time here and I managed to get a robin to eat birdseed out of my hand.
